Role: Rosie – 19 yrs old, Indigenous, 8 months pregnant

Character description: Rosie grew up in northern B.C. and has recently aged out of foster care. A lifetime of broken trust, has made Rosie both guarded and vulnerable. She is wise beyond her years and deeply sensitive to the world around her. She’s also a bit of a smart-ass and often finds other people’s discomfort amusing. Despite her fierce independence, she has found herself pregnant and trapped in an abusive relationship with an older man. Ultimately, what she wants more than anything else, is to find stability and build the loving and supportive family she never had.
